About :

Born and raised in the beautiful city of Dresden.

Trained carpenter, but getting into 3D-Art and web design in the mid- / late 90s.

Since 2001 digital artist in the games industry.
First game i worked on was "Patrician 2" made by Ascaron in Gütersloh, followed by "Port Royale" and some unreleased projects also with Ascaron.

Since 2004 working as Digital Artist for Related Designs (later: Ubisoft / Bluebyte Mainz) on a range of titles.

Changed to web development in 2019 .

 

Programming / Scripting :

Most of my programming / scripting experience comes from web development, scripts in photoshop, scripts for 3d-packages like 3DS-Max and Arduino sketches.
Recently i made some excursions into Python with Jupyter Notebooks (because it's awesome!)

At the moment my experience includes working with:

- Python

- PHP / Laravel

- Javascript / JQuery

- HTML5 / CSS for Webdesign.

- professional work experience with php/CodeIgniter creating and maintaining tourism related web apps (booking / payments/ etc.).
This also included frontend work with JQuery & Bootstrap 4

 

Art :

The area i worked on professionally for the longest time.
Years of experience in Photoshop, Autodesks 3DS-Max and texturing packages like Substance Designer.
Also some experiences with packages like Adobes After Effects and free(ish) game engines like Unreal4 (mainly doing particle / effects stuff).
